When Mary began working with 915 Labs in 2015, the food tech startup had an unoptimized website and just two employees. Over the next three years, she positioned 915 Labs as an innovative technology company and supported sales with a comprehensive marketing program.
She began by building the 915 Labs brand and launching a complete website redesign. Mary also established and managed the company’s social media presence, including Twitter, a monthly e-newsletter to industry influencers and media, LinkedIn and an ongoing blog. A media campaign focusing on trade, business and consumer press resulted in extensive press for the company, including print and video coverage in Reuters and most recently, BBC Radio.
Mary directly supported the company's CEO and executive team, providing PR counsel and market research, speechwriting, media interview training and sales materials including collateral, PPTs and sample product packaging. When exhibiting at industry conferences in the US and abroad, Mary served as the face and spokesperson for the company.
